Online Banking FAQs
Q: What is Online Banking?
A: Online Banking allows you to use a personal computer with an Internet connection to view all of your accounts, check balances, pay bills, access transaction history and pending payments, create reports, and download account information to Microsoft, Quicken or as a comma-delimited text file. Click the ‘Demo’ button located in the top right-hand corner of the First Federal home page to view the features of Online Banking.
Q: How much does Online Banking cost?
A: Online Banking is free.
Q: How do I register for Online Banking?
A: You must have an existing checking, savings, or loan account at First Federal to use Online Banking. Click the ‘Register’ button located in the top right-hand corner of the First Federal home page (under the Online Banking banner). Complete the Internet Banking Registration form. You will be prompted to accept First Federal's Terms and Conditions. Allow 1 to 2 business days for processing. Once your Online Banking is activated, you will receive a letter from First Federal with access instructions. For quick reference on how to register, download the Online Banking How-To Chart (pdf).
Once you are registered for Online Banking, you may register for E-Statements and Online Bill Payment. For more information on E-Statements, review the FAQs. For more information on Online Bill Payment, review the FAQs.
Q: How current is my banking information?
A: Your account information is updated each business day with new transactions that were posted to your account the previous business day. Click on the ‘Account Access’ button, then click the name of the account you wish to view.
The Account history page shows up-to-the minute balance information, as well as a list of month-to-date transactions. Please note that the Available Balance includes your Bounce Protection limit. Click here for more information on Bounce Protection.
Q: When can I use Online Banking?
A: With Online Banking, you have access to your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Q: What is required to use Online Banking?
A: You can access Online Banking with any computer that has Internet access and a secure web browser that supports 128 bit encryption, such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, or America Online.
Q: Do you have anything that explains how Online Banking works?
A: Once you are logged in to Online Banking, select any navigation icon at the top of the screen, such as ‘Account Access’; then select the ‘Help’ link located in the top right-hand corner. Information will display pertaining to that screen.
Q: I forgot my password. How can I reset it?
A Go to the Forgotten Password page and follow the prompts to reset your password online in three easy steps. You may also contact the Account Information Center (AIC) Toll Free at 866-AIC-FFBH (870.365.8329 Harrison area). The AIC is open Monday through Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm, and Saturday, 8am-12pm.
